Who Are We?
G. Pritchard Contractors was founded in 1987 by the present management. Over the years the company has gradually grown and has now established a good reputation with some major companies.
We have carried out works for Company’s that include; Amec, McCalpine, Ringway, May Gurney, John Sisk, Kier Rail, Birse Civils and T.E. Beach.
We are an ISO 9001 registered company and also hold a Link Up qualification that enables us to carry out works on Rail projects.
The company undertakes civil engineering, rail projects, groundwork’s, new builds and building
maintenance. Our specialised works are rail based, which include structure repairs, platform copings, tactile paving, riser wall brickwork and pointing, concrete repairs and platform re-surfacing.
All of our site based operatives hold Network Rail Personal Track Safety cards and LUL entry permits which allow them to work on rail projects.
The company is continually involved with road and street works and we currently employ six number operatives who hold NRSWA qualifications.
We employ an independent Health and Safety advisor who carries out safety inspections on our sites and
keeps us informed of any new legislation and our experienced supervisors work alongside our advisors to ensure that all works are carried out with the utmost regard to Health, Safety and Environmental issues.
